Q: Michael – I’m a new video editing. I downloaded the free da Vinci resolve program, but it won’t let me drag and drop my videos to the media pool. I have no idea what im doing wrong. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
A: PEZ – It’s best to import the footage through the system preferences, set your Media location/drive, then import from within the media tab within the software. There are some video types Davinci Resolve will not take but it is rare
If you’re using Davinci Resolve 16 then use the media tab to drag and drop off this is not happening for you then it’s highly likely the media is not accepted eg avi format
